Example program for 8 days of Safari

You don't have a fully planned schedule yet? Don't worry; we will gladly help you to create the perfect schedule according to your wishes. Below, we have created an exemplary 8-day itinerary. However, there are so many things to do in the region. Let us know what you would like to do, and we can help you to plan accordingly!

Day 01

Arrival on the farm

Arrival at the Estate around noon. Settle in and explore the surrounding area.

Day 02

Safari to Manyara national park

This park is only 45 minutes away from the farm. With its 352 square kilometres, it is one of the smallest but most diverse nature reserves in Tanzania, including both forrest and savana areas and rich wildlife.

Day 03

Farm tours

Farm, coffee production and roasting - guided tour with our farm guide. Explore the entire production process of coffee and other farm products, as well as hiking across the beautiful hills of Kifaru Coffee Estate!

Day 04

Exploring the culture of Karatu

Visit to the neighbouring village of Karatu, the local Mlimani Secondary School supported by the farm and the farm's own kindergarten accompanied by our guide.

Day 05

Rest day

Take a day off to rest and relax by our pool or gardens. Going on safari can be exhausting, so it is highly recommended to take some time off. 

Day 06

Safari to the Ngorongoro Crater

This is the highlight of every trip to our region. The Ngorongoro Crater is a Unesco World Heritage Site and boasts the most spectacular views and wildlife sightings. It is home to the black rhino gracing our logo.

Day 07

Rest day

After the full-day tour to the crater, it is recommended to take off one more day to take your time remenicing over the many experiences of the week. This way, you will be well-rested for your trip back home.

Day 08

Going home

Departure to Arusha and Kilimanjaro Airport. It is recommended to plan ca. 1 hour of extra time to stop by African Gallaria, the most well-equipped souvenir shopping en route to the airport.
